Dogs on Roatan

This is a compilation of "all things dog" on Roatan; from strays to pets. Let's get started!

We were at a beach party and someone wanted a bite (or two, or the whole thing) of my snack...

Dogs roam everywhere.  On the beach.....

.....and in the streets.

This is our neighbor dog mesmerized by our food on Super Bowl night.

Sadly, we're frequented with this visual plenty here. There's just nothing to eat. :-(



The guy below had just jumped from the big garbage bin scrounging for food

This guy found a tortilla!

This was at a restaurant - they were just waiting patiently for any morsel.  My mom gave them some bones from our meat.

Three-legged doggie...super sad. :'(  Dogs here have free reign of stores, restaurants, etc.

This guy is actually well fed but lazy.    "It's.....too.....hot"

Hopefully this blog post will show you what the majority of the world's animals are going through.   Some of the dogs and cats here are abused, too. Please treat your animals well.
